Why should I attend?
This in-house development programme, facilitated by the Performance Improvement Team, provides staff with the knowledge and skills to contribute to identification and implementation of solutions for many of our current challenges. Using a blend of Lean, Six Sigma and Change Leadership tools, the training is a hands-on learning experience that will help you participate or lead improvement activities. What will I learn? The programme covers a variety of process improvement tools, including: Problem statements Voice of the Customer Change leadership Facilitation skills Process mapping Value stream maps Process analysis Data collection Graphical analysis Waste identification Cause and Effect Mistake proofing Visual management Solution generation Standardised work Control plans How much time do participants need to commit? The formal training course is run over one day. To gain the most benefit you should also plan to be involved in participating or leading improvement activities within your business unit.
